Dennis’s Corner: A New Chapter

This Month Was A Month of Legos

The last two months was not quiet nor easy for me..

On paper it looks straightforward. We got a New office. New team members. Team Building. Relocation. Dreams. Aspirations.

In reality, it was transitional, very messy at times, but necessary.

We moved into a new office which we have already outgrown and wanting to leave (Not only because of the size). We are growing, and we want to keep the growth coming out way in a strong way! We are not backing down, we are getting momentum, just saying.

Strengthening the Team

Johannes joined us this month, and we are happy to bring another star on our team. But we won’t make it easy on him, he needs to take punches and raise himself 😉

Fasto is at the stage where execution is not only about growth, but it has to be a lifestyle. We are working on implementing everybody and get everybody on the same page, so there is only rocket speed left for us.

We also stepped outside the boring office frames and went shooting as a team, which was an experience and we got to shoot.

I will be sharing an image from that day because it represents something real about cohesion and trust.

NoVaQore and Why It Matters

Kevin started leading project: NoVaQore.

NoVaQore is more than a name, it is what we believe will become the standard. Our partners, merchants and whoever in the payment industry will enjoy what we are building and we will keep updates flowing as we have them.

Too many merchants operate without full visibility which is not up to code according us. Payment terms live in contracts. Performance data lives in separate systems. Reporting is often reactive instead of clear.

That does not scale nor effective.

With NoVaQore, we are building an environment where merchants can clearly see their payment terms, merchant details, and over time their volumes and transaction data in a structured and accessible way and much more coming later.

A Personal Transition

I moved back to Estonia this month.

It sounds simple. It was not, far from.

We went through four different Airbnbs before securing a long term place. Running operations while constantly relocating forces you to prioritise quickly.

Estonia gives me something important: focus. The tech ecosystem here values execution. That mindset aligns with how I believe companies should be built.

Friction and Growth

Not everything went smoothly.

We have experienced ongoing issues with our current office provider. Despite repeated problems and the fact that we are already outgrowing the space, exiting the agreement has been unnecessarily difficult as our provider won’t listen to reason.

It is frustrating, but it reinforces a simple reality. Companies lives by contracts over support even when causality in on their end. Sadly. not the first time..

Happy thing is that: They won’t bring us down! We are already working on other solutions and we will good soon!

Be flexible 😛

What Comes Next

The next phase is clear. Take over the world!!! Just kidding

But we are working on a roadmap, and other deliscious things to show to you.

So stay tuned and i will be back in around a month again.
